this project allowed me to take a favourite thriller from the shelf and reimagine it as a book trailer. using film editing and animation skills, i created this short clip to entice and influence readers.
To me, the 'Book Trailer' concept is a new and interesting route to explore. I found this project to be almost limitless in the sense of creativity, and although it encouraged me to work in a format besides print, I was still able to bring my ideas to life and work to influence an audience.
During experimentation, I realised through incorporating other transforming aspects such as moving image, motion graphics and sound, the potential to engage an audience and create an impact was still there - regardless of the chosen medium.
